RWTH Aachen
Deadline: June 30, 2023
The FeZa lab (www.fezalab.com) offers a position for a PhD student who is in for a challenge. ADP-ribosylation is traditionally known as protein posttranslational modification. Our recent work has shown that also RNA can be modified with ADP-ribose, with unknown function. We intend to figure out how ADP-ribose influences RNA function. This is an emerging field, with many open questions and possibilities to shape the research project.
The ideal candidate for this position has a background in biochemistry or cell biology. Desirable are experience with protein purification and biochemical characterization, or with Nanopore sequencing and bioinformatics. The expected start of this project is September 2023.
