Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences (Ref.: 525850), to commence on or before June 1, 2024 for one year.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in ecology, evolution, conservation biology, or a related field. They should have experience in and a demonstrated track record in conservation and/or tropical biology, especially in wildlife trade. Experience with genomics research (e.g. bioinformatics, whole genome sequencing) is preferred. The appointee will join a collaborative team studying the ecology and trade of endangered species in Asia and Africa (e.g. pangolins), and work on the research topic of wildlife trade and conservation.
The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr. Timothy Bonebrake at the Global Change and Tropical Conservation Lab and the Conservation Forensics group in the School of Biological Sciences. More information can be found at tropicalconslab.com.
