12 Doctoral Positions in University of Konstanz

Reference No. 2024/119. The starting date is October 1st, 2024. The positions are available until September 30th, 2028 (48 months).

The University of Konstanz is one of eleven Universities of Excellence in Germany. Since 2007 it has been successful in the German Excellence Initiative and its follow-up programme, the Excellence Strategy.

The positions are located at the graduate program Post-Eurocentric Europe: Narratives of a World Province in Transformation, Department of Literature, Art and Media studies. Members of the graduate school are expected to be present on site during the semester.

Your tasks

• • Elaboration of a doctoral thesis in the thematic field of the graduate school (you can find the research programme via this link)

Your profile

• • An excellent master’s degree in the fields of literary studies, cultural studies, history, cultural anthropology, political science or law
  • Willingness to engage in interdisciplinary cooperation
