Role Description

We welcome applications from prospective Research Fellow in Networked Autonomy with experience in designing, training, and validation of autonomous systems that contain elements of wireless communications, navigation/control, and machine learning.

About the Role

This exciting role is funded by 2 EPSRC projects, translating fundamental research into practical demonstrators. Our reputation for leading in the field of digital systems: communications, machine learning, and autonomy – has been established through more than thirty years of research into this field. The centre you would be joining is primarily focused in research on autonomy, leading significant projects in trustworthy and secure AI for future autonomous air and land systems.

About You

You will be educated to doctoral level in a relevant subject and your skills & knowledge will mean you can contribute to research & engagement activities such as (1) wireless communications for autonomous systems (especially in cooperative tasks), (2) engage with our academic partners in UK to develop current and future research, and (3) assist in synergy demonstration activities in the group with other academics across projects. You will be expected to collaborate with the existing staff working in the same centre and have communications and meetings with our collaborators, the industrial partner at various sites across UK.
