DESCRIPTION

The College of Pharmacy invites you to apply to the Collegiate Fellows Program, for recent PhD and PharmD graduates. This postdoctoral program is one of several efforts by the College to encourage recent graduates, including members of marginalized communities, to pursue careers in academia. COP recognizes that the inclusion of scholars who represent a broad array of life experiences and perspectives enhances the quality of the intellectual environment for all in STEM.

Applicants must receive either a PhD or PharmD degree from an accredited university before the start of their fellowship.

Terms of appointment
Appointment:
The College of Pharmacy Collegiate Fellows will receive a starting stipend equivalent to the NIH postdoctoral fellowship scale plus benefits (https://hr.umich.edu/working-u-m/my-employment/academic-human-resources/benefits-postdoctoral-research-fellows), as well as funds for conference and research expenses, for up to three years. During the fellowship, Fellows will devote their time to pursuing their independent research, as well as participate in pedagogical and professional development activities. All Fellows are expected to be in residence during the fellowship and to engage in departmental seminars and related activities. Fellows will also receive career advising from a departmental mentor during their fellowship, including guidance on grant application submission, including the NIH Student Loan Repayment applications.
