According to the university’s recruitment policy, all advertised positions are available for 3 years with different options for extension. The contract is subject to approval after 1 year. Expectations for successful candidates
We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12 months after starting the appointment and participation in teaching as defined by the collective agreement. Further, we expect the successful candidate to be able to work in a team, supervise students, participate in the organization of symposia, and present results in publications and at international conferences.
The language of the school is English; therefore, English is required, and German is an advantage. Further expectations are:
• Strong communication, data presentation, and visualization skills
• Ability to work both, independently and collaboratively
• Involvement in the institute’s research administration and teaching activities
