Missions

The post-doctoral fellow (M/F) will conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of neuroscience and behavioural economics within the Behavioural Sciences group. He/she will be able to contribute to projects conducted by the group on the influence of metacognition on interactions between individuals (negotiation, decision making, information cascades and networks) or the effects of emotions, stress or mental load on decision making. An experimental approach using behavioural data, neurophysiological data and modelling tools will be favoured. The post-doctoral fellow (M/F) will also be given time to focus part of his or her research on own projects, depending on his or her interests and skills.

Work Context

The post-doctoral fellow (M/F) will be integrated into the CES UM8174 laboratory in the Maison des Sciences Economiques. The Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne promotes a broadly interdisciplinary approach to behavioural economics. The Behavioural Sciences team includes theoretical and applied microeconomists and cognitive psychologists, with a strong experimental background. The team has published over 70 research papers in leading international journals in economics and cognitive science in the last 5 years. The post-doctoral fellow (M/F) will have access to the platforms of the Laboratoire d’Economie Expérimentale de Paris for the collection of behavioural and physiological data (eye-tracking, skin conductance, heart rate) and of the Laboratoire d’Expérience en Ligne.
